Four ways a woman can build an athletic body

Four ways a woman can build an athletic body

The athletic body for women is both feminine and fierce. Women want a body that is strong, toned, but not necessarily masculine. Women can be strong and fierce and still be feminine at the same time. If your goal is to get an athletic body you have to change your lifestyle not just the way you train. It involves hard work.

You have to eat responsibly and exercise just enough to get your muscles toned. Once you have a lean mean diet in check, it’s time to get to work. For an athletic body, you've got to do athletic work and you can do that in four ways.

Clean diet

It is not just about what you eat but also when. You want to set a routine and eat your meals at the same time every day. Drink more water rather than sugary drinks that have extra calories.

Pushups

This is one of the best exercises to work on the muscles of your upper body. This exercise tones every muscle in your arms, chest, and shoulders. You can do them every day, but remember to start small and work your way up.

Squatting

While pushups are great for upper body, squats work your lower body. For an athletic body, you want your arms and legs looking the same way. This exercise is great for your core and your butt.

Running

Once you get the taste of the adrenaline, also known as the runner’s high, you want it again and again. Running burns fat fast, much better than jogging or just walking.
